| ß-Agarose | ||
| From Pseudomonas atlantica Key facts:
Specifications: Concentration : 100 units/µl; solubilized in 10mM sodium phosphate buffer (pH 6.1) stabilized with 0.01% BSA, 50% glycerol; 10X reaction buffer is supplied with the enzyme. |
ß-agarose is used for the recovery of pure DNA and RNA from agarose low melting gels (Ishimatsu K. et al. (1956) Sci. and Ind. (Japan), 30, 137) . One b-agarase unit will solubilize 500 mg of low melting agarose gel at 40-42°C within one hour. To isolate nucleic acids from the agarose gel, cut out the band from the gel as accurately as possible; add to the slice half of the volume (or weight) of 1X reaction buffer and melt the agarose at 40-42°C. Add one unit b-agarase per 500µl melted agarose and allow to incubate at 40-42° for one hour. Nucleic acids can then be recovered by a simple ethanol precipitation. | Storage and

| RNase-EX | ||
| RNase decontamination solution | ||
Key facts:
Specifications: RNase-EX is ready-to-use for eliminating RNase from any surface including the interior of microcentrifuge tubes. By following the simple decontamination protocol given, RNase is completely inactivated and removed. When reaction vessels are cleaned all potentially enzyme-inhibitory residues from the cleaning solution are removed. |
Storage and Shipping: RNase-Ex should be stored at room |
