cDNA libraries

GENAXIS can construct cDNA libraries to your specifications. Starting from your RNA, tissue, or cells , we provide you in few weeks a high quality library in the vector of your choice (Lambda, phagemid or plasmid). Each step of synthesis is carefully monitored, and the quality control data are provided with the library.

 SAMPLE REQUIREMENTS:

    For each custom cDNA library, we need 10 - 20 µg of poly A+ RNA or 2 - 4 mg of total RNA. Please provide a gel photo of your sample, along with OD readings. If you have smaller quantities of total or poly A+ RNA, do not hesitate to contact us to discuss about the feasibility of your project. Note: We prefer to start from total RNA, and control the mRNA purification step (two rounds of selection on oligo(dT) paramagnetic beads). The charge for custom library construction does not include the isolation of poly A+ RNA from total RNA

mRNA PRIMING:

    oligo(dT), random hexamer, oligo(dT) & random, or oligo(dT)-primer-adaptor can be use

 SIZE FRACTIONATION :

    Otherwise indicated, we will size fractionate your cDNA to >500 bp by low melting point agarose gel electrophoresi

 DELIVERY:

    The delivery time is usually
    5 - 6 week
